Associate Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer Reading £60,000 - £70,000 A rare opportunity to join a growing flood risk and drainage consultancy at Associate level. We''re working with a specialist consultancy who are looking to bring an experienced Associate Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer into their Reading team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career, with the chance to manage projects, work closely with clients and play a key role in the continued growth of the team. The role You''ll be involved in a mixture of technical delivery, project management and client liaison, with plenty of scope to take ownership of your work. Your work will include: Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies Undertaking surface water, fluvial and groundwater flood risk assessments Designing sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) Carrying out drainage calculations and hydraulic modelling Reviewing drainage designs and providing technical advice Supporting planning applications and liaising with Local Authorities Managing projects from initial brief through to completion Building and maintaining strong client relationships Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team What we''re looking for We''re looking for someone with solid experience in flood risk and drainage consultancy who is ready for an Associate-level opportunity.
