Assistant Site Manager

We''re looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of works at a 400kV substation.You''ll work closely with the Site Manager, providing SR163 cover when required and supervising site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.What you''ll be doingSupporting the Site Manager across daily substation activitiesProviding SR163 cover when the Site Manager is off siteSupervising subcontractors and monitoring site progressEnsuring compliance with CDM regulations and Safe Systems of WorkSetting teams to work and monitoring activities through completionIssuing Permits to Dig and supporting site safety proceduresMaintaining quality standards and supporting as-built informationWhat we''re looking forPrevious experience on HV / EHV substation projectsStrong site supervision or management experienceKnowledge of CDM regulationsExperience implementing Safe Systems of WorkConfident supervising subcontractors and site teamsStrong Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental awarenessSR163 experience / capability would be highly advantageousThe opportunity 450- 500 per day, Outside IR35, on an initial 6-month rolling contract working on a major 400kV substation project.If you''re an experienced Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor with HV substation experience, apply today. ..... full job details .....
