Assistant Site Manager

We''re looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of works at a 400kV substation.

You''ll work closely with the Site Manager, providing SR163 cover when required and supervising site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

What you''ll be doing

• Supporting the Site Manager across daily substation activities
• Providing SR163 cover when the Site Manager is off site
• Supervising subcontractors and monitoring site progress
• Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations and Safe Systems of Work
• Setting teams to work and monitoring activities through completion
• Issuing Permits to Dig and supporting site safety procedures
• Maintaining quality standards and supporting as-built information

What we''re looking for

• Previous experience on HV / EHV substation projects
• Strong site supervision or management experience
• Knowledge of CDM regulations
• Experience implementing Safe Systems of Work
• Confident supervising subcontractors and site teams
• Strong Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental awareness
• SR163 experience / capability would be highly advantageous

The opportunity

-450500 per day, Outside IR35, on an initial 6-month rolling contract working on a major 400kV substation project.
