Assistant Quantity Surveyor – M&E

Our client, a leading Mechanical & Electrical services contractor, is looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of multi-million-pound construction projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in Quantity Surveying within the M&E sector, working alongside experienced Commercial Managers and Quantity Surveyors.

The Role

You''ll support the commercial team with:

• Cost management, valuations and variations
• Tender submissions and subcontractor engagement
• Contract administration and procurement
• Monthly valuations and financial reporting
• Subcontractor payments and project cost records
• Commercial documentation and budget control

About You

We''re looking for someone who has:

• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
• A willingness to learn and develop within a commercial environment

Desirable:

• A Quantity Surveying qualification (or currently studying towards one)
• Construction or M&E industry knowledge
• Previous construction or administration experience
