Quantity Surveyor

We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 main contractor on a project based in Portsmouth valued at -35m. The project revolves around the construction of an industrial unit but the business also undertakes projects across the education, healthcare, commercial and residential sectors. Due to the size of the project in question, they''re now looking to expand their team with an additional Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:

• Manage subcontract procurement
• Manage subcontractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Manage monthly valuations and liaise with the client
• Deal with final accounts

Key Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position:

• Have a HNC / construction related degree
• Have experience administering NEC 4 form of contract
• Have experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
• Must have the full right to work in the UK
• Must live within commutable distance to Portsmouth
