About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining the commercial team of a Tier 1 Main Contractor in the UK. They are looking to strengthen their commercial team due to a strong project pipeline. This leading construction contractor operates across commercial, education, defence, and infrastructure schemes with over 100 years of experience in the construction industry.

Their London operations focus on major commercial and mixed-use developments, industrial and logistic developments, life science and research facilities, film studios, defence and secure government facilities. You will be reporting into the Lead Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities of Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Include but not limited to:

• Support the measurement and valuation of work
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
• Cost reporting
• Contract administration
• Risk management
• Financial forecasting

Key Requirements of Assistant Quantity Surveyor

• Degree educated in a construction related subject
• Live within commutable distance and willing to travel in London
• Experience as a trainee or assistant quantity surveyor at a main contractor
