Assistant Quantity Surveyor

My client is an award-winning Environmental Consultancy involved in a range of services from site investigations through to remediation, ecological works, and waste treatment. They have a great client-base working with a diverse range of industry leading clients including contractors, developers, local authorities and government bodies. They are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing business who will help in the successful financial delivery of projects. In the role you will be working alongside a senior Quantity Surveyor and have responsibility for project cost management and reporting through to final account. You will work closely with their supply chain, prepare and review tenders ensuring understanding of client requirements for effective value engineering. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years Quantity Surveying experience with a background in Civil Engineering being preffered as well as some understanding of JCT and NEC contracts. You will have a track record in successfully managing and delivering against deadlines and knowledge of cost management software and tools.
