Assistant Quantity Surveyor Civil Engineering Tamworth / Chesterfield £300/day LTD Are you an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with civil engineering experience and a working knowledge of NEC contracts? We''re recruiting for an Assistant QS to provide additional commercial support to Senior Quantity Surveyors across the delivery of WMD debris screens and other civil engineering projects. The Opportunity This is a long-term freelance opportunity offering a rate of £300/day LTD, with a hybrid working arrangement of 2-3 days from home and 2-3 days on site in either Tamworth or Chesterfield. You''ll support the Senior QS team across a range of commercial activities, making this a good opportunity for an Assistant QS looking to develop their experience within a major civil engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Provide general commercial and administrative support Assist with commercial reporting Support subcontractor account management Assist Senior QSs with project commercial activities Work to instructions, deadlines and agreed timescales Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation Requirements QS degree or similar qualification 2 years'' experience within civil engineering Working knowledge of NEC contract forms Strong organisational and communication skills Able to work independently and remotely when required Experience with COINS or similar commercial systems would be advantageous Package £300/day LTD Hybrid working Tamworth or Chesterfield ..... full job details .....
