Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a well-established contractor in the water and utilities sector, is currently seeking a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a long-term contract basis. This role will support major Yorkshire Water AMP8 projects and is located in Sheffield, offering a hybrid working arrangement. The position is outside IR35.

• Managing project costs, valuations, and financial reporting
• Expertise with NEC contracts
• Delivering on project controls and ensuring adherence to budget

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Water, Utilities, or Civil Engineering sectors
• Understanding of NEC contracts and their implementation
• Proficiency in cost management, financial reporting, and valuations

• Experience producing cost forecasts
• Knowledge of change control processes
• Previous involvement in AMP programmes
