Assistant Management Accountant

Fin Search are recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis for an exciting, future proof business based in Middlesbrough.

Reporting in to a CIMA qualified Finance Manager, the Assistant Management Accountant will be working as part of a small team, responsible for assisting with the production of a timely and accurate monthly management accounts pack.

Duties will include, however are not limited to, posting journals such as accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, assisting with annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles, assisting with variance analysis and assisting with information gathering for internal and external audits.

The successful candidate will:

• Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA or be AAT qualified
• Have worked in a relevant accounts assistant/assistant accountant role previously
• Have strong Excel skills
• Have very good verbal and written communication skills

-30000 - -35000 with full ACCA/CIMA study support, discretionary bonus scheme, private medical insurance, global travel insurance, competitive private pension (6% employer, 3% employee) and free on site parking
