Assistant IT Manager - Education / Schools SCHOOL-BASED EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING £34,500 - £36,500 Permanent Full-Time Multi-Site Tradewind Recruitment are working with a growing Multi-Academy Trust to appoint an Assistant IT Manager to support its technology services across six primary schools. This position would suit an experienced IT Technician, Senior IT Technician or IT Support professional who has already gained hands-on experience working within schools and is now looking to move into a role with greater responsibility. You will work closely with the Trust IT Manager, helping to deliver a consistent and effective IT service across the organisation. Alongside technical troubleshooting, you will have responsibility for infrastructure, systems, projects and supporting members of the IT team. A key part of the position will be the ongoing support of Bromcom MIS, so experience with Bromcom would be advantageous, although training may be available for the right candidate with strong school-based IT experience. Key Areas of Responsibility Deliver day-to-day IT support across the Trust''s primary schools. Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server and Active Directory. Support Microsoft 365 services and user accounts. Monitor and resolve network and connectivity problems. Support wired and wireless network infrastructure.
