Interim Assistant Head TeacherSEN School - Secondary and Post-16 Location: Kingston upon Thames, London Contract: Interim, Full-TimeWe are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Interim Assistant Head Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Kingston upon Thames, supporting learners across Secondary and Post-16 provision.This is a pivotal senior leadership role for an experienced professional who can work flexibly and confidently within a Senior Leadership Team (SLT), while holding overarching responsibility for Secondary and Post-16.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic and operational support to the SLTLead and oversee Secondary and Post-16 provisionResponsibility for curriculum development and deliveryManage and maintain accreditations and qualificationsOversee work experience programmes and external partnershipsLead on and attend school residentialsTeach approximately 2 days per week, as requiredEnsure high standards of teaching, learning, and outcomes for students with SENThe Ideal Candidate Will:Have significant leadership experience within SEN and/or specialist educationDemonstrate strong knowledge of Secondary and Post-16 curriculum pathwaysBe highly organised, flexible, and confident managing multiple prioritiesHave experience with accreditations, work experience, and transitional pathwaysBe a collaborative leader with a child-centred, inclusive approachBe willing and able to attend school residentialsThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN leader ..... full job details .....
