Assistant Financial Controller (Month End) - Manchester Location: ManchesterContract Length: 12 MonthsHours: 37.5 per week *Urgent 12 Month Contract* This is a *Manchester* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working to *Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes* Overview Our client is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to support month-end accounting and financial reporting activities within a global finance team. The role involves managing financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and stakeholder communication across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and Pandamp;L analysis Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX requirements Manage variance analysis and reporting for multiple entities Support statutory, tax, and audit requirements Work closely with finance teams, auditors, and external stakeholders Identify and implement process improvements Assist with budgeting and financial planning activities Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or similar Professional qualification preferred (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA) 5-8 years'' finance/accounting experience Experience in a multinational or Big 4 environment preferred Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX Good stakeholder management and communication skills Strong Excel and ..... full job details .....
