Assistant Estimator / Estimator - Civil Engineering

Assistant Estimator or Estimator level professional with experience of working on civil engineering projects required to join a London based industry leader. You will work on some complex civil engineering programmes across the rail, airport, nuclear, defence and energy sectors. Key Responsibilities:Preparing accurate cost estimates and tenders for civil engineering and infrastructure projectsReviewing drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and other tender documentationObtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotationsSupporting the development of labour, plant, materials and subcontractor costsContributing to tender submissions, cost plans and commercial reviewsWorking closely with commercial, design, procurement and project delivery teamsMaintaining clear and accurate estimating records throughout the tender processSupporting value engineering and identifying commercial risks and opportunitiesJob Requirements:Experience in civil engineering estimating, ideally gained within a contractor environmentStrong understanding of construction costs, project pricing and tender processesExperience working on civil engineering projectsAbility to interpret technical drawings, specifications and quantitiesStrong analytical, numerical and ..... full job details .....
