About the Role
Our client is a rapidly growing construction contractor operating across multiple sectors including commercial, industrial, logistics, fit-out, refurbishment, life sciences and specialist construction projects. They are looking to appoint an Assistant Estimator to support their pre-construction team from their Coventry office.
This position would suit a motivated individual looking to build a long-term career within estimating and pre-construction, working alongside experienced industry professionals on a diverse portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of tenders and cost plans.
• Review drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Support bid submissions and tender presentations.
• Maintain estimating databases and records.
• Assist with value engineering exercises.
• Liaise with operational, commercial and design teams.

• Previous estimating experience or relevant construction qualification.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office packages.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Desire to develop a long-term career in estimating.
