Are you an Assistant Estimator looking to build your career with one of the UK''s leading property services contractors?

We''re working with a well-established contractor that''s continuing to grow its commercial function and is looking to recruit an ambitious Assistant Estimator to support the delivery of planned maintenance, refurbishment and retrofit programmes for housing associations and local authorities across the Midlands.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Some experience with estimating or commercial roles, within social housing is essential
• Strong Excel skills and good commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Construction-related qualification or equivalent experience is advantageous

Working alongside experienced Estimators and Commercial Managers, you''ll support the preparation of competitive tenders across a variety of social housing projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation of accurate cost estimates for planned maintenance, refurbishment and retrofit works
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Supporting tender submissions from enquiry through to final submission
• Working closely with commercial, operational and pre-construction teams throughout the bid process
• Developing your technical and commercial knowledge while working on long-term social housing frameworks
