Madisons are recruiting an Assistant Construction Buyer for a specialist interior fit out business based in Lichfield.
The company specialises in the fit out of property in the retail, hospitality & leisure sectors across the UK.
Duties:
- Convert internal requisitions into request for quotations and procure competitively from our external supply chain for multiple live fast track fit out projects
- Co-ordinate logistics using direct transport & subcontractors
- Authorise invoices and manage queries efficiently
- Manage plant losses and damages
- Build solid relationships both internally & externally with our supply chains
Requirements:
- Confident communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of construction materials & plant is desirable
- Experience of Microsoft Packages.
Further details:
- Working hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday
- Immediate start available
- Permanent role
- £27,500 per annum- dependant on experience would be negotiable
