This is a newly created role with genuine scope to grow into a qualified Accountant, in a business built around wellbeing, nature and community. Role Process purchase ledger invoices end to end, including VAT treatment, nominal coding and supplier statement reconciliations Prepare your share of the monthly management accounts, including lead sheets, balance sheet reconciliations and journals, to a five day close Reconcile takings from multiple payment channels each month and investigate any differences Support periodic stock counts and help prepare stock valuation schedules and journals Assist with year end statutory accounts, audit request packs and statistical returns As Assistant Accountant, you will work closely with the Finance Officer, Financial Controller and CFO, with plenty of scope to suggest and implement your own process improvements.
