Assistant Accountant

The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant on behalf of a Manufacturing business with offices in Luton.The RoleAs Assistant Accountant you will report to the Finance Manager and take responsibility for core transactional duties for the business. Day to day duties will consist of:Support finance period end including accruals and prepayments, reconciliationsSupport with daily tasks such as cashflow forecast, Capex reconciliationDaily internal reporting Complete National Statistics surveys and returnsSupport external audit with prompt reply to queries submittedPerforming bank reconciliations for all bank accountsUpload manual payments to the bankSupport with the quarterly stock take Support with any ad-hoc requests Your ProfileYou will be working towards AAT Qualified or starting to study ACCA/CIMA looking for a new development opportunity within a changing and successful organisation.
