Assistant Accountant

Your new companyA well-established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a capable and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join their close-knit finance team.Your new roleThis is a varied and hands-on position where you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the finance department, while also taking ownership of key HR administrative tasks.Key responsibilities will include:Multi-currency bank and account reconciliationsProcessing multi-currency purchase invoicesSupplier payment runs and banking administrationSupporting monthly payroll (liaising with outsourced provider)Pension administration and employee HR record maintenanceManaging annual leave records and HR documentationAssisting with P11Ds, company car fleet, and lease recordsVAT reconciliations (UK quarterly, Irish bi-monthly)Supporting month-end, year-end audit, and ad hoc reportingWhat you''ll need to succeedAAT qualified (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 5 years'' experience in a similar all-round finance roleExperience working in an SME/manufacturing environment is advantageous.Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of data accuratelyAdvanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Sage 200What you''ll get in return5% employer pension contribution (salary sacrifice scheme)Life assurance coverBonus schemeOpportunity to work in a varied role with real ownership and impactA collaborative and supportive team environmentWhat you need to do nowIf you''re ..... full job details .....
