Assistant Accountant

Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our very prestigious client based in Basildon, Essex. We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Assistant Accountant. This is contract and full time position position with a view f going permanent and working for very well established company. Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression.Our client is looking for an Assistant Accountant to work closely with our Management Accountant and Accounts Clerk on a mixture of both routine and ad-hoc tasks covering all aspects of the finance function.We require someone with a broad range of experience within the finance function, including exposure to sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations. A good working knowledge of Excel is necessary. Previous use of Microsoft Business Central is essential.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 year''s experience working within a similar role.This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a small, friendly team and who is experienced enough to work independently and take initiative.
