Description The Assistant Accountant duties include: Performing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating outstanding items. Reviewing and allocating high volumes of transactions accurately within the general ledger. Assisting with month-end close activities and supporting financial reporting requirements. Analysing aged balances and ensuring historic transactions are correctly accounted for. Supporting the improvement of finance processes, controls and reporting. Working closely with operational and finance stakeholders to resolve queries and drive efficiencies. Identifying opportunities to automate and improve existing processes through systems and reporting tools.
