Your new company Assistant Accountant Worcester Hybrid Working 32,000 - 36,000 per annumWe are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a well-established organisation based in Worcester.Reporting directly into the Finance Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in finance who is looking to broaden their experience across month-end, management accounts, cash flow reporting, forecasting and budgeting.The position offers a good mix of hands-on accounting responsibilities alongside exposure to the wider management accounting process, making it particularly suitable for someone looking to continue developing their career within finance.Your new role As Assistant Accountant, your responsibilities will include:Preparing and posting journals in line with accounting standards and company proceduresSupporting the month-end process and ensuring accurate financial information is produced within deadlinesAssisting with the preparation, review and analysis of monthly management accounts, including PandL reporting, commentary and variance analysisReconciling bank accounts, supplier and customer accounts and other balance sheet/control accountsSupporting the production of weekly and monthly cash flow reportsAssisting with forecasting and the preparation of annual overhead budgetsPreparing accounts and supporting information through to trial balanceInvestigating discrepancies and working with other departments to resolve queriesAssisting ..... full job details .....
