Assistant Accountant

We are currently working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Leeds who are looking to appoint an Assistant Accountant to join their Finance Team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their accounting career within a varied role, gaining exposure across transactional finance, month-end processes, reporting, stock accounting and financial controls.Working as part of a supportive finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial information is maintained across the business, whilst supporting continuous improvement initiatives and the ongoing development of finance processes.Key Responsibilities:Managing the accounts receivable process, from invoicing through to cash allocation and reconciliationSupporting credit control activities and maintaining accurate customer accountsReconciling bank accounts and multiple payment platforms, including credit cards and online payment providersProcessing and controlling stock transactions within the ERP systemAssisting with stock reconciliations and stock valuations across multiple sitesPreparing accruals, prepayments and month-end balance sheet reconciliationsProcessing and reconciling intercompany transactionsProducing financial analysis and supporting ad hoc reporting requirementsSupporting finance improvement projects, including ERP system implementationAbout You:The successful candidate will ideally have:Previous experience within a finance or accounts environmentAAT ..... full job details .....
