As an Assistant Accountant, you will:Credit control including reviewing and amending customer credit limits as and when necessaryBank ReconciliationsAssist and cover all Purchase Ledger tasks as and when requiredSupport with the monthly financial close process, ensuring all deadlines are metSupport and cover PayrollOther ad hoc duties as requiredTo be successful in this Assistant Accountant role, you will ideally have/be:AAT qualification (qualified, studying towards or working at an equivalent level already)Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and accuracyThe ability to work independently and within a team, with strong communication skillsProactive and hands-on, with a can-do attitudeThis fantastic opportunity is easily commutable from Pickering, Malton, Helmsley, Thirsk, and surrounding areas.
