Job Title: Assembly Operative Manufacturing / EngineeringLocation: LetchworthHours: Monday Friday 8:00am 5:00pm (40 hours)Assembly Operative We are recruiting for an experienced Assembly Operative to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company in Letchworth. This is a permanent, full-time role within a modern production environment offering stability and progression.This position would suit someone with previous manufacturing, production or assembly experience who is looking for a new challenge in a unique sector.Key Responsibilities Mechanical assembly of components to specification Cutting and assembling parts using hand tools Working from technical drawings and written instructions Meeting production schedules and daily targets Completing production paperwork and quality records Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages Maintaining high quality standards Adhering to Health and Safety procedures Experience Required Previous experience as an Assembly Operative, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative or Automotive Assembler Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings Experience using hand tools in a manufacturing environment Good attention to detail Reliable and able to work to deadlines Comfortable with manual handling Benefits Permanent, stable employment Pension scheme (4% employee / 5% employer after probation) Healthcare scheme after probation Free on-site parking Clean, organised and safety-focused working environment ..... full job details .....
