Asbestos Surveyor

Randstad is proud to partner with a leading specialist consultancy in environmental management and asbestos compliance. We are currently recruiting an experienced, self-motivated Contract Asbestos Surveyor to deliver an essential housing survey programme on behalf of a local council.

This contract primarily covers Full Management surveys alongside targeted refurbishment surveys across domestic social housing stock.

• Carry out 5-7 surveys per day on domestic social housing stock:

  • Full Management (FM) / Re-inspection surveys (approx. 5 per day)

  • Targeted Refurbishment surveys (approx. 6-7 per day)

• Accurately log, record, and upload survey data directly using your own tablet.

• Execute bulk sampling safely in compliance with HSG264 guidelines.

• Follow structured onboarding plan and council access protocols.

• Maintain excellent client-facing standards when dealing with local council tenants.

• BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) certification is essential.

• Proven track record conducting domestic asbestos surveys (social housing experience preferred).

• Own Vehicle & Valid Clean Driving License (required for travel between sites).

• Own Tablet Device (capable of running surveying software).

• High attention to detail, reliability, and strong time-management skills.

• Competitive Day Rate: -250 - -280 / day.

• Structured client onboarding and full support from the team.

• Consistent, high-volume workflow with a stable local authority contract.
