We’re looking for an Asbestos Surveyor to join our growing Hazardous Materials team, covering London and the surrounding areas.

The Role

This is a hands-on surveying role, with you out on a wide variety of sites across London — from commercial buildings and construction projects to public-sector estates.

Your work will directly support safer buildings and compliant project delivery.

You’ll:

• Carry out Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys, plus asbestos-in-ground surveys
• Travel across London and the surrounding region, working on varied sites and projects
• Collect accurate factual and numerical data using a phablet and our award-winning NexGen reporting system
• Produce clear, accurate survey reports
• Work in line with HSG264, HSE requirements and relevant legislation and construction regulations
• Maintain your QHSE documentation and follow internal assurance processes
• Communicate professionally with clients, providing clear advice and interpretation where required
• Represent Lucion positively on every site

About You

You understand the responsibility that comes with asbestos surveying — and you take it seriously.

You’ll ideally have:

• BOHS P402, an RSPH equivalent qualification or Certificate of Competence
• A solid working knowledge of HSG264
• A full UK manual driving licence
• The flexibility to travel across London and occasionally further afield
• Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work
• The confidence to work independently while being part of a wider team
• A practical, professional approach to site work
• Strong communication skills and a thorough, dependable attitude
