Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Grays, Essex
Salary/Benefits: -25k - -42k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a privately-owned, UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy, who operate within the South East region. They are recruiting for a qualified Asbestos Surveyor, to cover new client contracts in Essex. The ideal applicant will have proven hands-on surveying experience as well as good interpersonal skills, in order to liaise directly with clients. Experience / Qualifications:
- Must hold the BOHS P402 qualification, or RSPH equivalent
- Strong experience undertaking the full range of Asbestos Surveys
- Working knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Proficient in using IT software to complete reports, such as: TEAMS, Microsoft Office
- Good client-facing experience

The Role:
- Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
- Collecting samples from site for analysis
- Producing site-specific survey reports, including floorplans
- Working across a range of sites, including: commercial, domestic and local authority
- Meeting clients on site to discuss projects
- Working to agreed targets
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients
