They\''re looking for a confident swimmer with a calm, caring approach to join them as an Aquatics Therapy Assistant. Facilitating aquatic therapy planned by their on-site NHS physiotherapistsSupporting children and young adults with complex physical needs in the waterCreating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for allMonitoring progress and recording outcomes in line with their Aquatics CurriculumCollaborating with care, education, and physio teamsHelp deliver land-based movement sessions when not poolsideSupporting pool operations and maintaining high health and safety standardsSkills and Qualifications

A confident swimmer with the ability to meet National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) standardsNPLQ certified, or willing to train (they\''ll cover the cost)Experience supporting people with disabilities or complex needsGCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent in English and MathsCalm, proactive and team-focusedA passion for aquatics and helping others achieve their potentialBonus if you also have:ASA/STA Level 1 or 2 in Teaching AquaticsExperience in a leisure, swimming or therapy settingUnderstanding of hydrotherapy or adapted physical activityBenefits
