Our UK team supports mechanical contractors, consultants and other construction professionals with technical product selection, estimating, quotations and order fulfilment. We are looking for an Applications Engineer - Technical Support and Estimating to join our office-based team in Ascot. About the Role This is an office-based role combining technical customer support, product selection, estimating, quotation preparation and order processing. Approximately 50% of the role is technical support and 50% is estimating and quotation preparation. You will manage enquiries, review drawings and specifications, select suitable products, calculate technical performance, prepare quotations and process customer orders. Key Responsibilities Receive and manage incoming technical and quotation enquiries Review drawings, schedules, specifications and bills of quantities Carry out drawing take-offs and calculate product quantities Select and configure suitable SCHAKO products Calculate airflow, pressure drop, sound levels and air throw Prepare quotations using QuoteWerks Liaise with the German factory for technical and pricing support Revise quotations following design changes Answer technical enquiries by telephone, email and Microsoft Teams ..... full job details .....
