Applications Engineer

Are you an Electrical Engineer with strong CAD skills looking for a varied role where you can take ownership of technical projects from customer order through to manufacture? We are recruiting an Applications Engineer to join an established engineering team in West Yorkshire. This is initially a 6-month temporary position with the potential to become permanent, offering exposure to technically varied projects within an experienced and supportive engineering environment. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, manufacturing teams and internal departments, helping ensure technical requirements are understood, documented and delivered accurately.What you will be doing As Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering and technical management of customer orders relating to electrical equipment and switchgear. Key responsibilities will include:Producing technical documentation including electrical diagrams, layouts, arrangements, procedures and technical manualsPreparing manufacturing documentation to support productionProducing material requisitions for sub-suppliersLiaising directly with customers on technical matters throughout each projectWorking with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are delivered correctlyCarrying out detailed technical reviewsSupporting manufacturing teams with design and production queriesHelping resolve technical issues during the manufacturing processSupporting and sharing technical knowledge with ..... full job details .....
