Application Support Engineer, Software Support Engineer, ERP, SQL Server, T-SQL, Software Implementation, Solution Architecture, Enterprise Software, Databases, 1st -3rd line, Service Desk, External Client Support – 32KOur client is a profitable and rapidly expanding Software House. They are looking for a Software Support Engineer / Application Support Engineer to join their busy Software Support team. Full training in the client’s software will be provided as well as formal SQL qualifications and certifications. Hours are 9-5, Monday – Friday (no shift work – whoop whoop!) The office is based in the Leicestershire area.The skills needed for this role are:* Previous experience of working in an Application Software Support / Customer Support role* Experience in call logging and dealing with 1st-3rd Line Software Support issues* Experience in working within a similar environment such as Enterprise, CRM, or Financial software.* Good SQL Server, T-SQL, the ability to write scripts and interrogate databases* Software implementation – remote and onsite* Some understanding of how programming works* Strong verbal and written communication skillsSalary: competitive starting salary 32K and benefits.You must be able to pass a pre-employment screening due to the nature of my client’s customers.This is an office-based job.If you believe you fit the role, then please click apply for immediate consideration.
