Application Support Analyst - SQL - Banking Excellent opportunity opens to join a leading International Bank as their new Application Support Analyst. This is a hands-on 2nd line application support role, working as part of a small specialist team responsible for supporting business-critical banking applications. The role will involve investigating and resolving application incidents, managing service requests, responding to system alerts, supporting production changes and working closely with internal teams, business users and third-party suppliers. The successful candidate will need strong SQL skills, experience supporting applications in a Windows Server environment, and the ability to troubleshoot complex application issues while communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Respond to and resolve application-related incidents, alerts and service requests within agreed SLAs. Investigate application issues across bespoke and custom-built systems, databases and platform environments. Use SQL to query databases, investigate issues and support resolution of application problems. Support applications hosted on Microsoft Windows Server environments. Escalate complex issues to 3rd line teams, suppliers and internal IT teams while maintaining ownership through to resolution.
