Navigation Algorithm Design Engineer Salary: £45,000-£55,000 Depending on ExperienceLocation: Bristol - Primarily On-Site Are you an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and turning mathematical concepts into real-world systems? You will work on sophisticated navigation technology that plays a critical role in the development and evolution of advanced defence systems. Your work could range from exploring new concepts and technologies through to developing solutions for existing products, giving you the opportunity to see your ideas progress from early research through to practical implementation. About the Role:As part of the guidance, navigation and guidance team, you will be involved in the full algorithm development lifecycle. You will apply your mathematical and engineering knowledge to investigate problems, develop innovative solutions and assess how different approaches perform in realistic scenarios. About You: A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another mathematically focused discipline - a PhD would be desirable Experience developing navigation algorithms using MATLAB and similar tools Demonstrable programming, real-time implementation, validation and verification and navigation experience British Citizen eligible for high-level security clearance Benefits:Annual bonuses, paid overtime, pension contributions, up to 15 additional flexible leave, subsidised meals on-site, free ..... full job details .....
