Temporary Works Design Engineer

A Bristol-based temporary works specialist, providing in-house design, scaffolding, access, propping and shoring solutions across construction, heritage, marine, civil engineering and rail projects throughout England and Wales. As a Design Engineer, you will oversee the design and delivery of safe, compliant and efficient scaffolding solutions for construction and industrial projects. Working with a team of Design Engineers, you will work closely with the Pre-Contracts Director, clients and internal teams to ensure designs meet project requirements, industry standards and business objectives. Key responsibilities: • Undertake the design of innovative scaffolding and temporary works solutions, ensuring quality, safety and compliance with relevant standards. • Manage design projects from concept through to delivery, keeping work on time, within budget and aligned with client specifications. • Act as a key technical contact for clients, ensuring their requirements are understood and translated into practical design solutions. • Help mentor and develop the design team, supporting knowledge sharing, engagement and continuous professional development. • Collaborate with pre-contracts, sales, operations and other stakeholders to support seamless project delivery and business growth. • Keep up to date with industry regulations, technology and best practice, driving improvement and innovation within the design function.
