Airfreight Export Clerk - Dangerous Goods We are seeking a skilled Airfreight Export Clerk to join our client''s busy and growing team in Slough. The successful candidate must have previous experience handling dangerous goods shipments within an airfreight environment.Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pmSalary: £35,000 - £36,000Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee airfreight export shipments from initial booking through to completionProduce and send customer quotations in a timely mannerCoordinate transport and manage overall shipment logisticsBook shipments with airlines and maintain strong communication with carriersComplete customs entries in line with current regulationsPrepare air waybills (AWBs) and all relevant shipping documentationEnsure full compliance with industry regulations, including dangerous goodsSkills and Experience Required:A minimum of 2 years'' experience in airfreight export operationsPrevious dangerous goods (DG) handling experience is essentialGood understanding of dangerous goods regulations and compliance requirementsConfident in completing air waybills (AWBs)Strong knowledge of the full freight forwarding processExperience handling customs documentation and proceduresWell-organised with strong communication skillsAble to work independently within an office environmentThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced candidate looking to join a professional and supportive team. ..... full job details .....
