Seafreight Export Operator

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Export Seafreight Operator for a busy well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Colnbrook, Berkshire area.Job Role:-The role is extremely varied, and you will become a key member of an operations team, actively involved in managing export seafreight shipments from start to finish. You will be hands on with every aspect of Export seafreight forwarding process, ensuring the customer receives the highest level of service, and receive their goods safely and on-time.Duties:-Working to strict deadlines to co-ordinate export seafreight with end to end responsibility (including collections, bookings, liaising with overseas offices / customersSeafreight booking and processing relevant documentation including BOL''s.Liaising effectively and building close relationships with our supply chain QuotationsInvoicing clients.Strong ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously and communicating efficiently to the highest level via e-mail and telephone.Required Experience:-Experience in OceanfreightCustomer service - excellent telephone manner and communication skills.Computer literate with Microsoft Word/Excel/ Outlook.Highly organised with a systematic approach and detail orientated customersWorking hours are Monday - Friday 9-5.30pmAs an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight specialist in the UK.
