Role: Mobile Air Conditioning EngineerShift Pattern: Monday to FridayHours: 8am - 5pmOn-Call: 1 in 6 Call out RotaSalary: £40,000 - £44,700 DOEType: PermanentDuties

Fault-finding and repair of air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, chiller plants, and associated controlsMaintain and update F-Gas logbooks, ensuring accurate records of refrigerant use and leak testingCarry out installation, pressure testing, vacuum dehydration, and commissioning of A/C systemsOversee and coordinate subcontractor works on siteEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including completion of all required documentationComplete job updates using CAFM systems via PDA/tabletDiagnose system defects, prepare quotations, and liaise with contract managers and clientsJoin the call-out rota to provide emergency support when neededWork flexibly and professionally, maintaining a high standard of presentation and communication on client sitesRequirements

Recognised apprenticeship (EITB, CITB) or equivalent technical qualificationsMinimum NVQ Level 2 in Air Conditioning and RefrigerationCandG 2079-11 F-Gas Category 1 qualification (ODS regulations)Experience working with chillers, cold rooms, VRV/VRF systems, AHUs, cooling towers, and BMS systemsComfortable reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematicsL8 Awareness (Legionella)Health and Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH/IOSH) is advantageousFull UK driving licence requiredBenefits
