AI-Enabled Payments Test Automation Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced AI-Enabled Payments Test Automation Engineer to join a high-performing payments technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions across complex payment platforms while leveraging AI-driven testing practices to improve quality, efficiency, and release confidence. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in test automation, payments domain knowledge, JavaScript-based automation frameworks, and modern software testing methodologies, with experience testing payment systems supporting SEPA, BACS, SWIFT, ISO 20022, and multi-currency transactions. Key Responsibilities'' Understand platform architecture and design comprehensive test strategies and test cases. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for both frontend and backend applications. Build AI-assisted test automation solutions to improve test coverage, defect prediction, and execution efficiency. Collaborate with development teams to establish testing standards, quality gates, and best practices. Create and execute complex test scenarios using BDD frameworks such as Cucumber. Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, and JavaScript. Participate in SIT and UAT phases while coordinating with distributed global teams.
