Agency Social Worker - Children''s Front Door / Screening Team

Our client, Leicestershire County Council, is seeking an agency Social Worker for its Children''s Social Care Front Door / Screening Team.This post will last at least 3 months, paid at £38 per hour.Please let me know if you are interested? Or can you refer a friend for £300 if placed?The role will involve the following:The role involves screening contacts and referrals, analysing information, applying thresholds and making timely recommendations to ensure children and families receive the right response at the right time.Screen and triage contacts and referrals relating to children and young people.Gather and analyse information from families, professionals and partner agencies.Apply safeguarding thresholds and make clear, evidence-based recommendations.Record decisions, rationale and outcomes accurately and within timescales.Work effectively with Children''s Social Care, Targeted Family Help and multi-agency partners.Requirements of the role:Qualified Social WorkerFully Social Work England registered3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)Recent experience in Children''s Social Care, ideally front door, MASH, screening, duty or assessment.Strong safeguarding knowledge and confidence in threshold decision-making.Ability to work at pace in a high-volume environment.Excellent recording, analysis and communication skills.Please contact me asap to discuss in more detail.
