Aftercare Manager

We''re working with a leading blue-chip main contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Aftercare Manager to join their team in the Berkshire area.

As Aftercare Manager, you''ll take ownership of the post-completion process, ensuring projects are handed over smoothly and any defects or outstanding works are dealt with efficiently and professionally.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing the aftercare and defects process from practical completion through to final resolution.
• Coordinating subcontractors, site teams, consultants and clients to ensure issues are addressed promptly.
• Carrying out regular inspections and monitoring outstanding defects.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting on aftercare performance.
• Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Working closely with the wider project and commercial teams to ensure a smooth transition from construction into aftercare.
• Ensuring health, safety, quality and company procedures are maintained throughout the process.

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience in an Aftercare, Defects, Customer Care or Construction Management role.
• Strong knowledge of the construction process and building defects.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Confident dealing with clients, subcontractors and senior stakeholders.
• Able to manage multiple projects/issues and prioritise effectively.
• Main contractor experience would be highly advantageous.
