Aftercare Manager

An established and successful construction business is looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager / Aftercare Manager to join its team.

This role will focus on overseeing projects through completion, handover and aftercare, ensuring outstanding works, defects and client requirements are managed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects through practical completion, handover and aftercare.
• Oversee snagging, defects and outstanding works through to resolution.
• Coordinate subcontractors and specialist trades.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Monitor quality and ensure works meet the required standards.
• Resolve technical and construction issues efficiently.
• Ensure handover documentation and project close-out are completed.
• Maintain a strong focus on health, safety and customer satisfaction.

About You

We are looking for an experienced construction professional, ideally from a Tier 1 main contractor background, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects.

Experience within the following sectors is particularly desirable:

• Education
• Life Sciences
• Commercial

You should have:

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager, Site Manager, Finishing Manager or Aftercare Manager.
• Strong knowledge of construction, quality and project close-out.
• Experience managing subcontractors and specialist trades.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach.
• The confidence to deal with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel to projects across the UK.

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications are desirable.
