Occupational Therapist Adult Social Care Oxfordshire Council. Pay Rate: Up to £38 UMB. Contract: Full-time | Initial 3-6 months with potential for extension. South Oxfordshire Council is looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Homefirst Neighbourhood Team South, part of the Home First Hospital Service. This team supports the recently implemented Discharge to Assess model. The client offers flexible working, a fair caseload, and professional development. Responsibilities

Conduct home assessments across South Oxfordshire - own transport requiredCarry out bedside assessments in hospital settingsPromote independence and support people on their reablement journeyComplete Care Act assessmentsAssess individuals and carers with complex needs in the home environmentRecommend and coordinate equipment and adaptationsUndertake manual handling assessmentsWork in line with safeguarding procedures, promoting dignity and respect

Requirements

Minimum 2 years post-qualified experiencePrevious experience as a community-based Occupational TherapistExperience with major adaptations and reablement pathwaysManual handling expertiseHCPC RegistrationEnhanced DBS/CRB (we can assist)Eligibility to work in the UKMust have own vehicle and full UK driving licence
