Administration and Operations Manager

Are you an experienced and highly organised operations professional who enjoys making sure an organisation runs smoothly and wants to make a difference? Kapella''s mission is to build better relationships and improve the wellbeing of families and individuals. We provide accessible and affordable services, including counselling, family mediation, training, and domestic abuse programmes across Birmingham and the Black Country and wider Midlands area. Our work includes self-paying clients as well as funded projects delivered through contracts, grants, and partnerships. We are looking for an Administration and Operations Manager to lead and strengthen our day-to-day operations. Working closely with the CEO and service managers, you''ll oversee the day-to-day running of the organisation across our 2 main premises and in other community venues. You will manage the admin and appointments functions and ensure our services run smoothly, consistently, and with a focus on quality, sustainability, and user experience. We are entering an exciting phase of growth and are looking to expand our services and extend our reach across Birmingham, the Black Country, and surrounding areas. This new role is central to these plans. Initially, the role will be hands-on with responsibility for recruiting and training more administrative staff, fully opening our main premises, and transitioning to a hybrid model of online and face-to-face counselling.
