This is more than a traditional IT support role. While providing day-to-day technical support is an important part of the position, the primary focus is on improving and optimising existing business systems to better support operational teams.The successful candidate will work closely with operations, transport planning, warehousing, compliance, and administrative staff to understand how they work and tailor existing software to match real business processes. The aim is to maximise the value of current systems by configuring, customising, automating, and improving them, helping to reduce manual administration and increase efficiency across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Systems Development Collaborate with operational managers, planners, administrators, and other stakeholders to understand business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.Configure, customise, and optimise existing operational systems, including fleet and asset management, compliance, scheduling, and related platforms.Design and develop reports, dashboards, and automated workflows to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks.Lead small to medium-sized improvement projects from initial analysis through implementation, testing, user ..... full job details .....
