Actuarial Analyst GMP (Senior Associate)

Overview

We are looking for a number of Actuarial Analysts to join our GMP Equalisation team. We have a unique approach to solving the problems around GMP and are looking for technically minded people to join our friendly and supportive team. This role requires a desire and ability to grasp complex actuarial concepts and find solutions. You will work as part of the GMP team to assist clients in equalising pensions for their scheme members.Responsibilities

Working with and understanding member dataReviewing complex calculationsReviewing written advice to clients on GMP topicsCommunicating results to client teams and supporting them as you work through projectsRegular liaison and communication with the GMP team, client team and other departments in XPSOpportunity to get involved in specialist research and development teamsTraining and managing more junior colleagues as they embark on their actuarial careerQualifications

A keen interest in actuarial concepts, the wider pensions industry and financial landscapeExcellent Microsoft Excel skillsDesirable: An inquisitive mind and a desire to learnHighly motivated and driven to succeedAbility to problem solve and come up with solutionsOutstanding accuracy and attention to detailAdaptable and a team-playerRole location and working arrangements
