Accounts Senior - Manchester

Due to ongoing growth, the firm is now looking to recruit an Accounts Senior or Accounts Manager to join their established and progressive team.This is a forward-thinking firm with a sociable, relaxed, and genuinely people-first culture, where collaboration and flexibility sit alongside high professional standards. The firm places strong emphasis on long-term development, encouraging individuals to build meaningful client relationships and take an active role in shaping their careers.The successful candidate will take responsibility for a substantial client portfolio. You will act as a trusted advisor and key point of contact, engaging regularly with clients to provide proactive, practical advice tailored to their individual and business circumstances. Given the nature of the portfolio, the role will suit someone comfortable dealing with complex financial affairs, and regulated environments, with a high level of client interaction.There will be opportunities to mentor and develop junior team members, review work, and contribute to workflow management as the team continues to grow.The ideal candidate will be ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or qualified by experience, with a strong background in accounts compliance within an accountancy practice.
