Accounts Payable Specalist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Accounts Payable Specialist to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Birmingham City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has developed a strong background within Accounts Payable and is now looking for a role offering greater responsibility, ownership, and the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a busy finance function. Working as a key member of the finance team, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day Accounts Payable function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently, supplier payments are made on time, and the purchase ledger remains well maintained and fully reconciled. You will oversee the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries, investigate discrepancies, and ensure processes are followed consistently. You will play an important role in maintaining strong supplier relationships, supporting month-end close, assisting with payment runs and reconciliations, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and introduce greater efficiencies.
