We''re delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Manchester city centre to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager to lead and develop a team of 5 AP clerks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the AP function and make a genuine impact on a busy finance team. It would suit either an experienced AP Manager, or a senior AP professional with team leader or mentoring experience who is ready to step up into their first management role.Salary - £40,000 - £50,000Your core responsibilities in the Accounts Payable Manager role will include:Managing, mentoring and developing a team of 5 Accounts Payable ClerksOverseeing the end-to-end AP process in a high-volume environmentEnsuring invoices, payments and supplier accounts are processed accurately and on timeManaging supplier relationships and resolving queries and escalationsDriving process improvements and maintaining strong financial controlsSupporting month-end close and reporting for the AP functionKey Skills Required -Proven experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable environmentA track record of managing or mentoring a teamStrong ERP and system skillsExcellent attention to detailConfident, clear communicator with both finance and non-finance stakeholdersThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading business that invest in their people.If you''re an experienced AP professional looking for your next challenge in an Accounts Payable ..... full job details .....
